Danielle Lewis is the Program Coordinator for the Women in Science and Engineering program. In this role, she organizes academic, networking and social events for WiSE students. She is available to meet with students one on one to share resources and information about potential internship and research opportunities. In doing so, she frequently connects students with her own network of faculty, staff, upper class students and community members.
She has a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Cortland and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina. She is also currently a PhD student in UB’s Higher Education program. When she is not on campus, Danielle enjoys serving in the Buffalo community, reading and spending time hiking with her husband, Mike, their daughter and dog, Ralph.
Danielle very much enjoys spending her days encouraging students to take advantage of all that the University and WiSE program have to offer and she looks forward to meeting you at a future WiSE program! If you’d like to set up a meeting with Danielle, please email her at dvegas@buffalo or call (716) 645-1457. You can also stop by her office in 742 Clemens Hall!
