Student Leadership

WiSE student leaders volunteer at Party on the Point with alumni

WiSE student leaders provide direction and input to the Coordinator and help to come up with ideas and execute programs. These upperclass students are very committeed to WiSE and make a huge impact on the program by helping to spread awareness about women in STEM!

There are several committees led by WiSE students, including the Outreach Committee, which focuses on reaching out to K-12 students to promote STEM. The students on the Outreach Committee regularly volunteer with an afterschool program at a local community center where they do science demonstrations and experiments for the kids there.

The Peer Support Committee helps to organize study groups and fun, social programs to help women in STEM majors connect with one another and find support outside of the classroom.
