Research: I have been researching in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology since my freshman year. I perform data analysis to determine the impact of NSAIDs on the heart.
Clubs & Organizations: In addition to spending my time researching, I am also in the Biomedical Engineering Society, the Society of Women Engineers, and EMERGE (a student-run STEM journal).
Fun Fact: I love country music!
Why I joined WiSE: WiSE is an extremely important group of people with a common goal of helping to spread the word about women in STEM, as well as helping to benefit the scientific community in general.
Committee: I am involved in the Outreach Committee and really love it! We organized an event at the Gloria J. Parks Community Center in Buffalo, and it was not only a huge success, but a lot of fun to teach the kids about science.
